Tournament
Entry Policy: To enter a
Richmond Area Tournament under SoftballNation, please contact Butch Tiller at
(804) 378-2285. All
Entry Fees must be received in advance unless prior approval is made by
SoftballNation Richmond.
The Official Entry Deadline is Wednesday before the tournament at
Withdrawal
Policy: Any team that
withdraws from a tournament after the entry deadline remains obligated for the
entry fee. Failure to pay an entry
fee upon withdrawing after the entry deadline will result in the team’s
immediate suspension from play with SoftballNation.
NO SHOWS who fail to pay the entry fee will be immediately suspended and
assessed a $100 fine in addition to the tournament entry fee.
Returned or canceled checks will be assessed a
$50 penalty and the team will be considered suspended until payment is made.
Illegal withdrawal, tournament no shows, and
canceled checks will result in forfeiture of all berths awarded.
If a team is suspended from play with SoftballNation, notification will
be made to all other sanctioning organizations.

Season Qualification Guidelines:
To qualify for participation in the SoftballNation National Championship
Tournaments in your team’s respective division your team must:
1. Be in good standing with SoftballNation and all other National Sanctioning
organizations. (SoftballNation reserves the right to accept or reject teams that
have been suspended from other national, regional or local sanctioning
organizations for any reason.)
2. Participate in two(2)
SoftballNation Tournament Qualifying tournaments or win one(1)
tournament. Please visit
www.softballnation.com for participation guidelines for your respective division
of play.
3. Be sanctioned with
SoftballNation for the current season.
4. Have a completed and approved
roster online with SoftballNation.
5. Participate in your State Championship Tournament for your respective state
and division of play. If there is no
State Championship Tournament held in your respective state or division of play,
your team may request a waiver to
participate from the National Office.

Dorey Park:
From Downtown Richmond: Take I-64 East to Exit 195 (Laburnum Ave.)
Follow Laburnum Ave. South 3.1 miles.
Turn left onto Darbytown Road. Go 1 mile.
Dorey Park is on the right.
Glen Allen Softball Complex: (Henrico County, Virginia)
The complex is located north of the City of Richmond off Mountain Road in
Henrico County.
From: (North or South coming into Richmond via I-95)
Take Exit 83B (Parham Rd. West). Go to Brook Road and turn right. Go approximately 1/4 of a mile and look for Mountain Road. Turn left onto Mountain Rd. Follow Mountain Road approximately 2 miles and the complex is on the left.
From: ( The East/Virginia Beach coming in on I-64 West)
Take I-64 West to I-95 North. Follow I-95 to Exit 83B (Parham Rd. West). Go to Brook Road and turn right. Go approximately 1/4 of a mile and look for Mountain Road. Turn left onto Mountain Rd. Follow Mountain Road approximately 2 miles and the complex is on the left.
From: (The West/Charlottesville coming in on I-64 Eastbound)
Take I-64 East to 295 heading towards Washington. Get off at the first Woodman Rd. (South) Exit. Take a right onto Woodman Rd. Go to Mountain Road and take a left. The complex is located on the right hand side a short distance on Mountain Rd.
Henderson Complex: (The complex is located behind Henderson Middle School in the Northside of Richmond) .
If you are coming from the South, East or West: (I64 to I-95 North) Take I-95 North to Hermitage/Lakeside Ave Exit (Exit 80). Take a left onto Westbrook Ave. Follow Westbrook Ave. until it runs into Henderson Middle School. The complex is behind the school.
If you are coming from the North: Take I-95 South to Exit 83B (Parham Rd. West). Go to Brook Rd and take a left. Follow Brook Rd. approximately 4 or 5 miles to Westbrook Ave. Turn left on Westbrook Ave. You'll run into Henderson Middle School and the complex is behind the school.
Parker Field Annex: This field is located off of I-95 at Exit 78. Follow the signs to the Boulevard and the field is right there. It is located beside the Arthur Ashe Center and The Diamond (home of the Richmond Braves.
Traveling from Parker Field Annex to Henderson: Go north on the Boulevard. It turns into Hermitage road. Turn right on Laburnum Avenue. Go to Brook Road and turn left. Go to Westbrook Ave. and turn right. Westbrook runs right into Henderson Middle School and the complex is behind the school.
Traveling from Henderson to Parker Field Annex: Leaving the complex get on Westbrook Ave. Go to Brook Road and turn left. Go to Laburnum Ave. and turn right. Go to Hermitage Road and turn left. Hermitage turns into the Boulevard and the field will be on the left hand side.
Petersburg Sports Complex:
Petersburg is approximately 22 miles south of Richmond.
From Interstate 95, take Exit 48B (Wagner Road).
Go to Crater Road and Turn Right.
Go to Flank Road and Turn Left.
Turn Right on Birdsong Road.
The Complex is on the right hand side.
RF&P Park:
RF&P Park is located within Meadow Farm Museum Park on Mountain Road.
North of the City of Richmond in Henrico County.
From: Downtown Richmond
Take I-95 North to I-295 West (to Charlottesville)
Get off at Woodman Road South Exit.
Turn Right onto Mountain Road
The Park is located approximately 2 miles down the road on the right side of the
road. You'll see a sign that says Meadow Farm Park Museum. RF&P
Park is in Meadow Farm Park.
Dumbarton Complex: Fields are located behind
Dumbarton Elementary
From Downtown Richmond:
Take I-64 West and get off at Staples Mill Rd. North
When you get to Hungary Springs Rd. turn left.
The Schools is on the right and the fields are behind the school.
You can also get there from I-95 and Parham Rd.
Take Parham Rd. West.
Turn right onto Staples Mill.
Turn left onto Hungary Springs and the fields are behind the school which is on the
right.
Petersburg Sports
Complex:
Petersburg is approximately 22 miles south of Richmond.
From Interstate 95, take Exit 48B (Wagner Road).
Go to Crater Road and Turn Right.

Turn Right on Birdsong Road.
The Complex is on the right hand side.
Lee, Day, Cooper Fields:
Leaving the Petersburg Sports Complex: Turn right onto Birdsong Road.
Go to the end and turn right onto Johnson Road.
Go about 1 mile and you'll see Lee (on the left) and Day Fields (on the right).
At the Intersection, turn left onto South Blvd. and Cooper Field is down
around the curves and up the hill on the left.
