April 26th:  CA/JO/Absolute Bail Company and Big Dogs/BOC win flights at the Beach.

CA/JO/Absolute Bail Company defeated Pearle Vision to win the top flight of the Pearle Vision Classic.  Led by MVP selections Todd Boyer and Kevin “Diddy” Callanhan CA/JO/Absolute Bail Company played at a high level to take home their first title of 2008.  Rich Lampher led Pearle Vision to the title game.  Pearle Vision played almost flawless ball the entire weekend and looks like a team that is coming together.

April 26th: Hometown Heroes/New Life Chiropractic win the Ladies In Charge Classic.  

Kelly Hawkins and Juanita Moore led Hometown Heroes/New Life Chiropractic to the championship of the Ladies In Charge Classic.  Hometown/New Life Chiropractic defeated Code Blue in the finals.  Code Blue battled their way to the finals defeating JC Driskill/North Landing Electric and Temple Logging.  The team was voted MVP for Code Blue.

April 19:
Crossroads/Boykins Family Practice, Horizon Trust, and Nelson International win titles at the beach.

Aaron Midgette and Mike Kellet led Crossroads/Boykins Family Practice to the championship of  high flight of the Dudley/Worth Warm Up defeating Hitz Indoor Batting Cages 15-14 in the title game.  Brian Babb was voted MVP for Hitz.   The game was tied 14-14 going into the bottom of the 7th and Crossroads pushed in the winning run to take the title home to  Carolina.

In the low flight of the event, Nathan Almquist and Hunter Phaup led Horizon Trust to the championship while Joe Andrade was selected MVP for Langley.

Led by MVP selections Jesse Ross and Chris Sizemore, Savannah Softball defeated Team Blackwater in the if game of the Head Hunters Classic.  Brad Cofer was voted MVP for Team Blackwater.  I conmend both teams for playing in a steady rain and still playing some top notch ball.

March 22nd: 
Taylormade 2 wins high flight while Cascade/Chico's & Van Nostrand Plumbing share title in low fight.

Taylormade 2 defeated Youth Challenge to take the high flight championship in the Bo Tire's Classic.  Led by MVP selection Robert "Rebo" Blackburn , Taylormade 2 played through the terrible weather conditions for their first title of 2008.  In a thrilling semi-final match up Taylormade 2 defeated EOG/LEB in 8 innings to advance to the finals.  Youth Challenge defeated TNT/Brick Specialist in the other semi-final contest exploding at the end of the game to advance to the championship.   Dustin Ivey was voted MVP for Youth Challenge.  

In the low flight Cascade/Chico's and Van Nostrand Plumbing agreeded to be crowned co-champions.  Due to the extreme cold and wind both teams didn't want to risk injury to anyone.  Van Nostrand Plumbing selected Al Williams as their MVP while Cascade/Chico's MVP is TBA.
